Wrong Way Round 2011
Thanks again to all of you who joined the ride. We hope you’ve all recovered and are still revelling in your success. Well done to all of you for finishing the ride, whatever the distance, and well done to everyone who raised money for charity.
We’re holding the Wrong Way Round reunion and certificate presentation on Thursday 29th September at The Bell Inn. We’ve done the same for the previous two rides, and they were jolly good evenings, so we’re doing it again for 2011. It’s an opportunity for everyone to meet up again, have a few drinks and just reminisce.
We will be presenting certificates to all finishers, and awarding a few other special prizes as well, including the Chairman’s Cup, for the rider best demonstrating the spirit of the event, and the famous Golden Stabilizer, for the most spectacular – but harmless – accident.
So here are the details:
The date: Thursday 29 September.
The venue: The Bell Inn, Yatton Keynell, just a few yards from the iconic milestone, ‘Hyde Park Corner 97 miles’, that inspired the whole ride in the first place. We’ve hired ‘The Barn’ function room (on the other side of the car park to the main pub) for the evening.
Doors open: 8pm. Presentations at 8.30pm.
Come for an hour or stay all evening. Friends, family and supporters all welcome.
So, put the date in your diary – Thursday 29 September – and we look forward to seeing you there.
