A note from the organisers
Many thanks to all those who took part in the Wrong Way Round & Round Bike Ride on Sunday 8 June.
We had around 120 cyclists taking part in the ride, joined by many more spectators and supporters enjoying the festival atmosphere at the Bell Inn start/finish area.
Thanks to the great support, we’ve raised money for local charities: FOBBVS, Yatton Keynell under 5s, Youth Club and St Margaret’s Church. Several cyclists were also raising money for their own chosen charity. Others were doing it for the personal challenge or just for sheer fun. Congratulations to everyone that took part.
We’d like to say a big thank you to all the helpers from Yatton Keynell and surrounds who made the event a success: the heavy gang on the marquee and bunting, the scrutineers on the desk, and the stewards who kept things moving – especially Stephen Slade and Richard Phillips. Many thanks to Mark and all the staff at the Bell Inn for their help and support, and thanks also to the medical team who were on standby all day (but thankfully not needed).
And finally, a big thank you to our commercial sponsors:B
