We have put together this page to welcome you into the community, and share some of the groups, activities and venues that exist in the village and surrounding areas. Young or old, there’s plenty to enjoy. 

 

Around the village

Ages of Man Playground

Opened in 2009, our well equipped playground is designed to provide activities for all ages and is regularly packed with three generations of families. 

Bybrook Pre-school

Our popular pre-school operates five days a week from the spacious Village Hall, with before and after school clubs and a holiday club.

Village Hall

The Village Hall is a modern purpose built building opened some 20 years ago which is available for hire for Wedding Receptions, Private Parties, Dances and other events.

By Brook Valley School

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, By Brook Valley CE Primary School was built in 1998.

The Bell Inn

This 17th Century Inn is situated in the centre of the village close to the Post Office, village shop and 13th Century church.

St. Margaret's Church

St. Margaret’s is part of the By Brook Benefice, a group of nine rural parishes.

Parish Council

The Parish Council meets on the first Monday of each month. 

Village Fete

Our Fete takes place each September, and is a traditional afternoon of fun and fundraising. 

Recreation Association

YKRA looks after the Village Hall, playground and surrounding area. We are a Charity run by volunteers. You can book the hall for parties and other events. 

Youth Club

Our youth club provides a safe environment for young adults to take part in and enjoy a variety of activities.

YK Events

YK Events organises various events throughout the year, including popular Quiz Nights, bingo, skittles and Band Nights. 

Brownies

1st Yatton Keynell Brownie Pack meets on Wednesdays in term time. They have lots of fun taking part in activities either at their meeting place, Yatton Keynell Village hall, or going on trips and visits.
