1. PUBLIC GALLERY
Councillors personally congratulated Baroness J Scott of Bybrook on her appointment as a life peer.
Vehicle Activated Signs (VAS) Baroness Scott to check whether Wiltshire Council policy is derived from national or local policy. If the policy is locally based Baroness Scott to request a derogation to allow the installation of permanent VAS in Yatton Keynell.
Community Speedwatch – Cllr. F Plowman to investigate cost & procedure for training of the six volunteers.
A burglary took place in the village recently, Cllr J Skinner to place a link to Wiltshire Police website on village website

5. REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Crown – Giddeahall Majority of signs have been removed.
Market Cross Trees – Will Wolf to remove three Silver Birch, Cllr Parker to agree selection of 3 memorial trees with Will Wolf. Unaminous decision to allocate £1,000 to project.
Footpath Surgery – Biddestone Lane, accepted Will Wolf’s quotation for the removal of trees. Cllr K Jones to confirm details with Will.
Clarks Leaze playground – Cllr. F Plowman to obtain costings for safety related repairs. Agreed that Boundary fence would not be replaced.
Fishing Lakes planning application – Baroness J Scott to determine current status of the application.
Grass Cutting – JCBS has quoted for cutting all verges in the village. Baroness J Scott to obtain a copy of the Council Verge cutting schedule for YK.
Biddestone Crossroads Cllrs reported two minor accidents in the last month.
Village Hall Broadband & Wifi, following discussions at Community Benefit Fund meeting, Unaminous decision to fund reinstallation of phone to village hall and fund one years Broadband connection and provide wifi within the hall, Cllr K Jones & Cllr. J Skinner to liase with YKRA & Under 5’s.
6. COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND
The following projects have been funded:
Bybrook Valley School & Yatton Keynell Recreation Association
A joint application for improvements to the public space between Bybrook Valley School and the Village Hall was granted funding of £7,500
St. Margaret’s Church
Funding of £5,000 was granted to support the installation of improved audio visual equipment for the Church.
Yatton Keynell Recreation Association
A larger project to provide improvements to facilities at the Village Hall was granted funding of £12,500 subject to final plans being completed.
Yatton Keynell Speed Awareness Group
Subject to approval by Wiltshire Council on the placement of Vehicle Activated Signs, funding of £7,500 was granted to support the installation of such safety signage on the edges of the village.
Yatton Keynell Under 5s
A project to install canopies to allow more regular use of outdoor space by the village Pre School was granted funding of £7,190.
7. BURIAL GROUND – CHURCHYARD Link Garden
Unanimous agreement to fund project – £ 5,500 to redesign area between Churchyard & Burial Ground
