1. PUBLIC GALLERY
The Council congratulated Cllr. Jane Scott on her appointment as a Life Peer
Grass cutting – the poor standard of grass cutting by Wiltshire Council was discussed.

5. REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Tree Felling – Clerk was instructed to obtain further quotes.
Phone Box – Cllr, Jones to make inquiries to identify a potential restorer.
War Memorial – Unanimous decision to make the design anonymous both in terms of campaigns and names of individuals who died. Cllr Plowman to write to YKRA to seek permission to site memorial on YKRA land.
Clarks Leaze Playground – Annual Safety Inspection due to be carried out in September. Cllr Plowman to request that report is made available for October Meeting
Fishing Lakes Brooms Farm – Clerk to write to Cllr Scott to request Call In and to reiterate that the primary objection was vehicular access, of secondary concern was the design of the units.
6. COMMUNITY FUND APPLICATIONS
Meeting of Parish Council arranged for 21st September & 19th October to review applications. Clerk will circulate details to Councillors

Event will take place on 11th October at The Market Cross. Cllr. Skinner to place advertisement in October Honeycomb.

9. PLANNING
Hedgerows, Grove Lane – Ref: 15/08129/FUL Rear & Side Extensions – Object
The decision to Object was unanimous on the grounds that the current application is a larger development than the one rejected on appeal in 2007/8. As YKPC objected that application then, they have no grounds to change their view.
Cllr Scott to be requested to call in the application
4 Church Farm – Ref: 15/07862/FUL Single Storey Extension – No Objections
10. COUNCILLORS QUESTIONS AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
Community Speed watch – Cllr Plowman to write an article for the Honeycomb to request volunteers.
Cllr Parker – Reported that there has been an increase in Fly Tipping since the imposition of Garden Bin collection charge and reduced opening hours at Recycling Centres.
