Ralph Whittaker introduced himself to the council expressing an interest in being co-opted to the council to fill the vacancy. Unaminous decision to Co-opt Mr Whittaker at the June meeting.

Market Cross Memorial Trees – Dedication service held Sunday 8th May, Councillors thanked the Chairman for organising the dedication service in memory of Paul Baldwin, Chris Dash & Sue Pickering, and Baroness J Scott of Bybrook for her kind reflections and memories of Paul, Chris & Sue
Telephone Kiosk – Cllr Green to obtain advice and quotation on remaining work
School Activated 20 mph Speed Limit – Clerk to write to Chairman of School Governors & Head Teacher re questing that school travel plan be updated to request flashing signs & road hatching marking.

Insurance policy three quotations have been received, (Community First – Zurich, Came & Company and Aon). Aon have quoted the most favourable terms, Unaminous decision to renew with Aon for one year. The premium of £366.61 was authorised for payment.
Wiltshire Association of Local Councils – Unaminous decision not to renew the subscription.
8.UNDER 5’s FUNDING REQUEST
Request received from Under5’s for financial support to replace the patio fencing at the village hall following OFSTED inspection. Unanimous decision to provide £500 from Community Benefit Fund.
9.CATG ISSUES
Issue 4598 – Tiddleywink Slow Sign – Council has no objection to this proposal and would also request that a metro count be undertaken.
Issue 4599 – pavement from Tiddleywink to edge of village – Council does not support this issue, installation of a pavement is neither practical nor cost effective.
10.COUNCILLORS QUESTIONS AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
Clerk will distribute template for Community Resilience Emergency Plan which has been requested by Wiltshire Council, to be discussed at June meeting.
