Resident from Grittleton Road raised the issue of speeding traffic on Grittleton Road. Cllr A Parker reported on that the Parish Council had carried out a traffic survey earlier in 2025, Clerk to supply copy, which is also available on the village website. Cllr F Plowman updated councillors on enquiries to obtain a speed indicator device (SID). Parish Council is looking for volunteers to occasionally turn the SID to capture traffic both north & south bound.
The resident expressed thanks on behalf of the community to Cllr M Green & her staff for all they do for the community in running the shop/Post Point & Café. This was endorsed by the Parish Council.
Second resident enquired about the condition of public rights of way (PROW) at the junction of YKEY 9,10,11 to the rear of the Halfpenny field in Grove Lane. Cllr D Towl (Cotswold warden) explained that the ground conditions had previously been reported to Wiltshire Council and will raise the issue again.
