MINUTES OF A FULL MEETING OF YATTON KEYNELL PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE BARN – THE BELL INN YATTON KEYNELL MONDAY 6th JUNE 2022

5.REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Wild Flower planting at the School, Cllr Towl reported turf cutting had taken place and planting had started.
Village Pond project continues.
Market Cross wall repairs, Clerk to request update from Church Farm Management Company.
Clarks Leaze play area, quote received to remove old equipment, quote to be resubmitted to include removal of matting. Quote to be received to re seed and return to grass the area currently used.
Public right of way – Grittleton Road to Westway Cottage, project pending awaiting final permissions.
Memorial Bench outside the shop, style agreed local supplier to be found.
6.PLANNING
Planning Updates – PL/2021/06100 – Proposed Solar Farm
The meeting was attended by two representatives from Eden Renewables, video of a lorry driving the proposed route has been recorded and published by the applicant along with a mail shot to properties in the parish.

Councillors were unanimous in declaring that the video was not a representative sample journey and that there is no safe route to the proposed site and therefore the application should be withdrawn.
Meeting scheduled to take place with Parvis Khansari, Director of Place Wiltshire Council, 10th June 2022 to be attended by Chairman, Vice Chairman of Grittleton Parish Council & representative from the Sevington/Leigh Delamere community to discuss Wiltshire Council’s handling of the application.
7.CLERK – FINANCE
Four payments were approved:

I J Plowman – £119.33 – Garden Bin Burial Ground & Website Subscription – Cheque No. 101237
D Towl – £67.45 – School Jubilee project – Cheque No. 101238
8.COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY
Second installment of 35% (£11,053.65) received in May 2022.
9.HIGHWAYS, FOOTPATH & PLAY AREA
Castle Combe Race Circuit, agreed that joint liaison meeting with Castle Combe PC should be reinstated. Clerk to contact CCPC.
Parish Steward to be requested to weed spray on his June visit.
10.COUNCILLORS QUESTIONS AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
Councillors agreed to fund a “welcome” postcard for new residents which would list key village contact points.
