Three residents from John Aubrey Close attended – see item 9 below.
2. CO-OPT PARISH COUNCILLOR
Ralph Whittaker was co-opted as a Parish Councillor thus filling the casual vacancy. Parish Council now at full strength.

5. WILTSHIRE POLICE & CRIME COMMISSIONER – Angus Macpherson
Discussion took place with WPCC concerning the speed of traffic through the village and what measures could be put in place. WPCC to investigate and report back on the introduction of a Camera funded by Community Benefit Fund based on the system used in Rodborough Gloucestershire.

7. REGISTER OF ACTIONS
Surgery Footpath – Clerk to request quote for suitable replacement trees from Will Wolf, for discussion at August meeting.
Phone Box – Councillors thanked Cllr Green for organising the glazing of the phone box, it was agreed to request roman Glass to supply & fit the missing pane.
Community Benefit Fund – Village Hall Sails, Council are in dispute with the supplier with regards to the quality of installation. Balance of payment currently being withheld.
8. COMMUNITY RESILIENCE/EMERGENGY PLAN
Wiltshire Council have requested an Emergency Plan, it was decided to keep the plan as simple as possible and limit it to the contact details for Village Hall Entry & Church Entry as two safe locations.
9. JOHN AUBREY CLOSE FLOODING
Following a short period of intense rain on 11th May two properties in JAC were nearly flooded due to run off from the field behind JAC. The turning area outside the properties concerned was flooded and the road subsequently covered in silt.
The Clerk has requested that Wiltshire Council clean a number of drains in JAC, outside White Lion Lodge (Jcnt Grittleton Rd & B4039) and The Street opposite the surgery where flooding also occurred. The VACTOR will attend the village w/c 6th June.
It was agreed that the Parish Council would write to the land owner & tenant farmer requesting that the ditch between the field & JAC be maintained and also to write to Wiltshire Council requesting a survey of drains in the area of JAC to ensure that they are clear and free flowing.
(On Tuesday 7th June the ditch concerned was excavated behind 19 & 21 JAC)
