1. PUBLIC GALLERY
Two members of the public attended, and stated their wish that the Bench at Coopers Meadow be retained. School Governor present to report on meeting re Speed & Parking Restrictions (see Register of Actions) and three members of YKRA to update Parish council on the Village Hall project (see Item 6)

5. REGISTER OF ACTION
School Operated 20 mph Speed Limit
Mr A Wylie School Governor reported on a meeting attended by himself, Cllr Baroness J Scott of By Brook, Cllr A Parker & a Highway Engineer
It was reported that the School Travel Plan will be amended to include an advisory 20 mph timed speed limit outside the school. Signage will be funded and provided by Wiltshire Council. This was supported by The Parish Council
It was also reported that the School Travel Plan will be amended to include parking restriction outside the School which will provide clear visibility of the designated crossing point. The School to report back to The Parish Council once the length of parking restrictions has been decided, by Highway Engineers, Jubilee Surgery to be consulted. The Parish Council supported this action.
It was further reported that at a future date the School Travel plan will be amended to facilitate changes to the road layout at the junction of Biddestone Lane and The Street to provide a safe crossing place.
Bench – Coopers Meadow
Cllr Whittaker to obtain further quotes for replacement or repair of the bench
Village Maintenance
James Bruce Scott has submitted his tender for Village Maintenance work for the period March – December 2017. The Tender was unanimously accepted.
Complete Weed Control submitted a quotation for Weed spraying, this was rejected (Unaminous). The Parish Steward would spray the weeds on the public highway.
YKRA – Village Hall Refurbishment
Following discussion with members of YKRA it was unanimously agreed that the refurbishment programme had commenced by February 2017 (a condition of providing funds from the Community Benefit Fund), a further update to be provided to the September Parish Council Meeting.
6. CATG 5081 TIDDLEYWINK – Creation of Pedestrian Lane on road between Tiddleywink & Yatton Keynell
The Parish Council were in majority (Six against, one abstention) to not support this request, it was considered that the Road was not wide enough and this would increase the risk to pedestrians.
7. PLANNING
14 Church Farm
16/11658/FUL – Proposed single storey extension together with ancillary structural and non – structural internal alterations – Revised Submission
Unaminous Object, the Parish Council, noted that the height of the extension had been reduced however, the views of the Council as stated with regards to the original application remain unchanged. Cllr J Scott will request that the application be called in should officers be mindful to approve the project.

Cllr Grainger had been questioned as to what plans the Parish Council had for the Telephone Box, Clerk will include request for ideas in the monthly Honeycomb report.
