Mary Pope introduced herself to the council and was unanimously co-opted to serve on the Parish Council.

Market Cross Tree plaques budget of £140 agreed.

6. PLANNING
Wiltshire Housing Site Allocation Plan
Cllr J Scott has reconfirmed that she is committed to ensure that access to the land to the east of Farrells Field, known as site 482 to be direct from B4039. Parish Council to make a further submission to emphasis the drainage issues at the South end of the village and that vehicle access must only be direct from B4039.

No objection – Majority Verdict

7. AREA BOARD ISSUE – 6324 – Long Dean Lane
Unanimously agreed to support a local resident’s request to investigate whether it is possible to add more passing points.

8. CLERK & FINANCE
Electricity, following price increase by current supplier SSE it was agreed to change supplier to First Utility, (post meeting it was agreed to change to Scottish Power).

Garden Waste bin for the Burial Ground – agreed to renew the subscription – £48.00
Wiltshire Council have requested an audit of the road grit bins in the Parish, Cllr M Crookall agreed to visit Long Dean , Clerk will check the others.
Parish steward to be requested to treat the weeds on the roads around the Parish.
Clerk will request that Fowlswick Lane crossroads visibility splays are cut and extended

9. COUNCILLORS QUESTIONS AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
Clerk to request information from Wiltshire Council as to the method of operation of the School Advisory 20 mph signs.
