MINUTES OF A FULL MEETING OF YATTON KEYNELL PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE BARN – THE BELL INN YATTON KEYNELL MONDAY 4th DECEMBER 2023

Tiddleywink – B4039 – change of speed limit – No update.
West Yatton Lane – No update
6.PLANNING
PL/2023/10025 – 2 West View – Convert Garage, replace rear extension.
No Objection – Subject to: Councillors noted that the adjoined property (1 West View) is a Grade II Listed Building (1183722) and both properties are within the Yatton Keynell conservation area, therefore the application will have to be carefully considered by the planning authority.
Leigh Delamere Solar Farm (PL/2021/06100) – Clerk reported that the pre commencement conditions regarding passing places on Sevington Lane had been discharged by Planning Officers in June 2023 (PL/20222/09286).
7.CLERK – FINANCE
Councillors noted YKRA have received a grant of £8,000 from SSEN Community Fund and have applied for Area Board Grant £5,000 to fund a solar energy project.

Three payments were approved:
I J Plowman – £225.66 – Cheque No. 101301 – Clerk November

JCB – S Garden Maintain Ltd – £2,029.60 Cheque No. 101303 – Village Maintenance
The Bell Inn – £180 – Cheque No. 101302 – Room Hire

Bank Reconciliation was signed by Cllr A Parker.
Councillors resolved to add Councillors M Woodcock & D Towl to the bank mandate, Cllr A Parker to progress.
HIGHWA8.YS, FOOTPATH & PLAY AREA
Clerk to report missing “No Through Road” sign at Broomfield.
Cllr D Towl reported that the Cotswold Wardens will be installing handrails on the steep bank on CCOM 7/YKEY25.
