MINUTES OF A FULL MEETING OF YATTON KEYNELL PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE BARN – THE BELL INN YATTON KEYNELL MONDAY 1st AUGUST 2022

B4039 Tiddleywink – missing street light, U Cllr N Botterill continues to investigate.
6.PLANNING
Planning Applications considered:
PL/2022/05523 – Increase Garage to Double from Single – 5 Old School Gardens – No Objection.
Planning Updates – PL/2021/06100 – Proposed Solar Farm – U Cllr N Botterill confirmed that the application will be presented to the Strategic Planning Committee on 10th August for determination subject to clearance of outstanding legal issues.
7.CLERK – FINANCE
Community Governance Review:
Wiltshire Council are revisiting a number of requests that were not pursued in 2019.
It was agreed that Cllr A. Parker would discuss the Biddestone proposal with the current Biddestone PC Chair, noting that Biddestone PC were in agreement in 2019. The other two schemes, Long Dean and the area around the Golf Academy would not be pursued.
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) have enquired if the Parish Council would be able to make a donation towards the upkeep of Church infrastructure. The Parish Council has in the past made a donation towards maintaining the boundary wall as this has direct impact on the amenity of the centre of the village. There is no provision in this year’s budget for a contribution.
As the Parish Council currently undertake grass cutting in both the Church yard & Burial Ground, it was unanimously agreed to include hedge trimming in the Contemplation garden within the Parish Council contract.
Request for donation from Wiltshire Citizens Advice, Councillors unanimously agreed to donate £100.00

8.COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY
YKRA have requested that they present their plans at the October meeting rather than September.
9.HIGHWAYS, FOOTPATH & PLAY AREA
West Yatton – Long Dean – C164 signage – LHFIG have reinstated this as a project.
10.COUNCILLORS QUESTIONS AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS
Cllr M Woodcock requested that a number of road signs could be cleaned and or replaced in Biddestone Lane, Clerk will request this actioned by the Parish Steward.
