MINUTES OF A FULL MEETING OF YATTON KEYNELL PARISH COUNCIL

Draft Wiltshire Housing Site Allocation Plan, proposal to develop land to the East of Farrells Field – Site 482 was discussed.
Issues raise were:
Farrells Field is unsuitable as the access point to the proposed site.
Farrells Field is unsuitable for construction traffic.
The ability of the services – Surface Water, Sewerage & Freshwater to cope with the construction of an additional 30 houses.
There is no superfast Broadband in Farrells Field currently, therefore will the system cope with additional demand.
Ownership of the track between the School & Blacksmith Close
GPSS Pipeline crosses the site
Residents were encouraged to submit their concerns to Wiltshire Council and that the Parish Council would liaise with the Residents.
Councillors were requested to canvas opinions of other residents within the village as to their views of the proposed development.
A draft response will be considered at the September meeting.

Community Speed Watch, it was agreed to abandon the scheme as volunteer training hadn’t taken place.
SID next visit to be sited on The Street & Grittleton Road.
17/05166/FUL Extension and alterations to existing barn to facilitate creation of a dwelling incorporating subterranean accommodation – Barn Tiddleywinks – Object – Unaminous
17/06151/FUL Loft Conversion with 3 pitched roof dormers and single storey side extension – 2 Grange Court, The Street – Support – Unaminous
17/06464/FUL Double storey side extension including single storey lean to along with the insertion of further windows/doors to the existing elevations – Fairview, Biddestone Lane – Support – Unaminous
17/06617/FUL Regularise amendments to the original permission granted by 16/11131/FUL including amendments to the windows, fascia boards and dimensions of the approved extension – Blarney Cottage, Biddestone Lane.
Following discussions with the Case Officer the Chairman reported that the Conservation Officer was to be consulted and a further revision to the application will be submitted. Therefore the above revision was not discussed. Councillor’s observations on the application were submitted post the meeting.

Noise from the Race Circuit was raised particularly late running events and over an extended number of days. To be raised at the next circuit liaison meeting.
