“Imagine my suprise whilst randomly browsing the Yatton Keynell website, the village I grew up in to find a picture of my very self taken over 40 years ago. Under the old village pictures a newspaper cutting of me entitled “They are for sale” I was a handkerchief seller at the Ladies Club Easter Bazaar! I remember this outfit very well, it was made from an old nightie and many many hankies were pinned to it with dressmaking pins, I remember having to move very carefully for fear of being stabbed by a pin. My Mum and Auntie Doris had put it together and I was to sell the hankies at the bazaar!!-Happy memories!!”
