The various village groups responsible for the public areas of the village, including Yatton Keynell Parish Council and Yatton Keynell Recreation Association, take a joint approach to the issue of dog control in the village, and particularly dog fouling.

All village groups recognise the right of responsible dog owners to exercise their dogs in the village, and simply ask that owners behave in a reasonable manner when doing so and respect the rights of other people to enjoy a village free of dog fouling.

In Jubilee Field, which is owned and maintained by Yatton Keynell Recreation Association, dogs must be kept on leads at all times, and all dog waste must be cleared up immediately and placed in the bins provided.

Throughout the rest of the village, normal regulations apply to the use of leads and removal of waste. A number of dog waste bins are provided throughout the village. Please do not deposit dog waste in other bins.

If you have concerns about dog control or fouling, you can contact Wiltshire Council on 0300 456 0100.
