Yatton Keynell SOS Group

A group has been formed in Yatton Keynell to provide support to any people that are struggling or self-isolating in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.  The village and outlying houses/hamlets including Tiddleywink, Lanhill, Giddeahall, West Yatton, Long Dean, Broomfield and Kents Bottom will all receive a leaflet in the coming days with a contact name and number of a village resident that they can get in touch with by telephone if they require help and support.  Updates and information will be placed in the porch of St. Margaret’s Church.  There is also a Facebook group called ‘Yatton Keynell SOS Group’ which will post updates.

Whilst the volunteers for this group will be able to help with shopping, mail, supplies and telephone support, physical contact and entry into homes will not be available.  For health advice then please visit the Wiltshire Council website which displays the most up-to-date COVID-19 community pack.  If you cannot access this pack then please contact the number posted through your door and a volunteer will deliver this leaflet for you.

Our aim is to ensure that no-one in our local, rural community gets missed or over-looked.  There are a huge number of people ready to help-out wherever they can.
