Have you been inspired by Chris Froome’s fourth Tour de France win? Fancy getting out on your bike? Want to get the kids outside and active this summer? Then why not come along to the historic Castle Combe Race Circuit for a day of cycling fun for all the family!

From 11.30am on Sunday 27 th August, you can experience the exhilaration of riding on the smooth, traffic free 2-mile Castle Combe Circuit. Anyone of any age or ability can simply turn up and pay on the day: £5 adults, £2 children and £10 for a family ticket.

Apart from cycling around the circuit, there is much more on offer throughout the day:

Children are invited to come and take part in our Go Ride Challenge – where you can learn new bike skills, compete against others in short races and win prizes! For the very young ones, we are offering have-a- go sessions on Strider Bikes – balance bikes for toddlers. There will be much more to see and do on the day so don’t miss out.

The Tavern Café will be open during the day serving hot and cold food and drinks, there will be coffee and ice cream stands, and do feel free to bring your own picnic as there is plenty of space to sit, relax and watch the fun.

Once again, the Circuit Lap Challenge is back by popular demand! See how many laps you and your family can complete altogether! A great way to get everyone pedalling, this event takes place throughout the day on the circuit, and offers some exciting prizes, including a family ticket to a Motor Racing Day at Castle Combe.

As last year, Help For Heroes is our charity partner. Why not get yourself sponsored for number of laps and raise some funds for this wonderful charity?

This day is linked to the popular Severn Bridge Sportive and riders of this event will be arriving back at the Circuit from early in the afternoon – so join in with the celebratory atmosphere as you cheer them in from their ride!

The talented Rich Lewton Photography will be taking pictures throughout the day, so make sure you bring your best smiles! His high-quality photos will be available to purchase and would make a great memento of a fantastic summer’s day out.

We very much look forward to welcoming you all to Castle Combe Circuit for yet another successful day of cycling fun. See you there!
