A note from Jonathan Philpott

Many of you will now know that I have been offered a new job and so Tracie, Luke, Caitlin and I will be relocating away from Yatton Keynell at the end of July.  This unfortunately means that I will no longer be able to chair the Pre-school Management Committee.  Although it has been a complicated year for the committee, it has generally been a pleasure to serve in this capacity and had we not been leaving I would have been very happy to continue in the role.  However, this means that the management committee now legally needs a new chair from the AGM (5th July 2016) in order for the pre-school to remain open. A number of people have come forward to join the committee, and someone has very kindly offered to take the role of Deputy Chair which is fantastic.  If you are able to consider the possibility of offering a bit of time to be the pre-school chair, then please can you let me know as soon as possible?  I have everything in good order ready to hand over, and we have done most of the preparations for the start of the next academic year so it will not be as busy a year as we have had this time round. You don’t have to be a parent of a child at the pre-school in order to consider this role! If you would like to explore the role with no commitment at this stage, please do let me know. With many thanks Jonathan Philpott...
